I have already registered a domain, do I need to transfer it? No. You are able to register your domain elsewhere, but you must change your name servers with the company that you registered your domain through. To do this, contact them and tell them that you want to make your primary and secondary name servers ns1.cdxsolutions.com and ns2.cdxsolutions.com respectivly.

 

My Outgoing Email is not working properly through Outlook or another POP3 Email Client, What is Wrong? Make sure that you have used mail.cdxsolutions.com or mail.yourdomainname.com as your outgoing mail server and also make sure that you have enabled smtp authentication for the outgoing email. This can be done by clicking the more settings button in the change email account section of Outlook. Then click the Outgoing server tab and ensure that the smtp authentication box is checked as well as the "use the settings of my incoming mail server" bubble.

 

I have changed my name servers however my site does not come up. What is wrong?
It takes 24-72 hours to fully link across the internet with our servers. Please be patient and your site will be up soon.

 

I need to change my billing information, but i don't know how. What do i do? Login to your account and click the "billing info" button. Then, click edit to add/edit a credit card.

 

I put files in my directory but nothing shows up and it has been 72 hours. What is wrong?
Check to make sure you are putting your files in the domain folder instead of the main folder on the server and make sure your main page is titled index.htm or index.html.

 

Where is my h-sphere control panel login?
You may login on our home page or go to http://login.cdxsolutions.com.

 

How do I setup up email?
Login to your control panel and click on Mail Info, here you will find the tools necessary to setup email boxes, email forwards, and email lists.

 

How does the trouble ticket system work in the control panel?
Please do not use the trouble ticket system at the current time as it is not working properly. If you have a support issue, visit our support page or email support@cdxsolutions.com .

 

Where is Webmail located?
Webmail is located at either mail.your-domain.com or mail.cdxsolutions.com . There are three different mail utilities that you may use.

 

How is your company using WebShell3 and is it the only way to publish files to my site?
WebShell3 is a test program that CDX is currently trying to implement for a web shell environment. Please note that it is in testing and may not show up for you. FTP would be your best bet to publish or using Front Page to publish.

 

How can I edit my Microsoft SQL Databases?
You may either use Enterprise Manager or use our web interface located at http://www.cdxsolutions.com/mssql/ .

 

Why does my ASP.NET application work on my localhost but not on your server?
If you have an application that is hosted on our servers, then you must notify support@cdxsolutions.com that you need assistance to make the directory an application.

 

Can I connect to MySQL using ASP.NET?
Yes the ODBC.NET drivers have been installed and you can connect to a MySQL server programmatically. Note that MySQL is not in the Windows Plans but you may still connect to an outside resource.
